About the Roles
As a Logos Psychologist you:
Are emotionally mature with a high capacity for self-reflection and the ability to receive and implement constructive feedback. You are naturally curious about people and able to adjust your approach to meet individual client needs.
Can work collaboratively and collegiately with other members of the practice and are able to consider feedback from both clients and practitioners.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Have competence in psychometric testing and psychoeducational assessment, in treatment planning, and evidence-based psychology interventions.
Essential Requirements:
Masters or Doctorate qualification in psychology, or have completed the 4+2 or 5+1 internship pathway
Full registration with AHPRA as a psychologist
Registration or eligibility for registration as a Medicare provider

Desirable Attributes
Masters/Doctorate/PhD level qualification in Psychology
Previous experience with assessment software and tools
Familiarity with NDIS reporting
Experience with assessment report writing
Experience working with complex trauma presentations and knowledge of trauma specific interventions (EMDR, parts approach, sensorimotor psychotherapy, somatic processing, cognitive restructuring)
Experience working with neurodiverse presentations (e.g.: ASD, ADHD)
Experience working in private practice
The Fine Print: Role Responsibilities
Clinical Practice
Deliver evidenced-based psychological clinical assessment, intervention and case management services to persons with mental health disorders and other mental health problems in accordance with the identified needs of the client, observing mental health and professional ethical standards. This includes both individual and group work.
Work with clients from a variety of referral sources, including NDIS and other third-party referrals.
Plan, develop and implement outcome focused individualized treatment plans using a best practice framework with a continuity of care and recovery-oriented approach. Collaboratively involve consumers and carers in all aspects of treatment and treatment planning and provide proactive support to persons with mental health issues and their families.
Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to a more complex clinical caseload under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
Compilation and presentation of professional development workshops, seminars, and conferences, as required.
Completion of directed mental health training.
Availability to provide these clinical services across all practice sites.
Communication / Team Participation
Work cooperatively and effectively within the multidisciplinary care team (i.e. Psychiatrist, General Practitioner, Psychologist) in the management of individual consumers to promote positive consumer outcomes.
Prepare professional and timely reports and maintain up to date clinical records in accordance with documentation standards in addition to maintaining current data requirements of the practice.
Participate in professional development activities including supervision, performance appraisal and development and practice Team Meetings.
Actively assist with the initiation, development, implementation and facilitation of practice Marketing Initiatives and other practice projects.
Work Unit Management
Contribute to the support, peer supervision and professional development of all staff to enhance the delivery of Psychology services within the team and the practice as a whole.
Actively participate in initiating, development and implementing quality and service improvement processes and participate in recording service data including being able to use outcome measures to evaluate effectiveness of practice and to use when setting and establishing priorities for intervention both consumer focused and recovery-based principles in line with best practice standards.
