Focus Areas:
Adults, Children/Adolescents - assessment and counselling
Interested in or have experience working with complex trauma and neurodevelopment presentations
Supportive, collaborative, and growth-focused environment
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Practice
Deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health conditions
Work with clients from diverse referral sources (e.g., NDIS, private, third-party)
Create individual treatment plans using recovery-oriented, best-practice approaches
Manage a complex caseload with increasing clinical independence
Deliver both individual and group therapeutic services
Communication / Teamwork
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (GPs, psychiatrists, other psychologists)
Prepare reports and maintain clinical documentation to professional standards
Attend supervision, team meetings, and performance development activities
Work Unit Management
Participate in peer supervision and mentoring
Contribute to quality improvement and outcome evaluations
Uphold WHS, EEO, and anti-discrimination policies
Marketing Activities
Assist with non-clinical promotional tasks (e.g., blogs, social media content)
Additional Duties
Complete tasks as directed by the Director
Requirements:
Essential
Masters/Doctorate in Psychology or completed 4+2 or 5+1 internship
Full AHPRA registration as a psychologist
Eligible for Medicare provider number
Membership (or eligibility) with APS or AAPI
Working with Children Check and Police Check
Professional indemnity insurance
Australian working rights
Desirable
Experience with psychometric tools and report writing
Familiarity with NDIS and private practice settings
Skills in trauma-specific interventions (e.g., EMDR, somatic work)
Experience with neurodiverse presentations
